On the isle of Taasinge in southern Denmark, alongside the village duck pond stands Teglgaarden’ ( pronounced  tylegoarn) amidst the beautiful surroundings of Valdemar Castle and its surrounding woodlands.
We offer our guests a warm welcome to the comfort of country style rooms each with a double bed, TV and own furnished terrace with the possibility for bar-b-que.

One of the rooms has an en-suite toilet/bathroom, and the possibility to make up an extra bed, if needed.  
Adjacent to all four rooms, is a  tea kitchen equipped with a fridge, microwave, coffee perculator and electric kettle, with the possibility of preparing light meals  

Breakfast is served on a tray to each room.
The farm has it’s own cherry orchard, where Roe deer come up to grass and pheasants wander in the free. We also have a pen in the orchard where we keep Dexter cattle and African goats.

You can bike and take a picnic in the woods or visit the historic Valdemar Castle, and the nearby beach, only 5 mins. drive.. The local Svendborg tourist ferry stops off at the castle quay on its scenic  route around the south Funen islands.
